Los Angeles Dodgers Will Win The World Series

Letters to the Editor: Hey, Dodgers, care to comment on that racist ad played during the playoffs?

The Dodgers said a lot this season. They said how they wanted to win. They said they were open to criticism. They said they wanted the fans to be part of the team’s success. They said they loved their franchise and would be back. They did everything humanly possible to say the things they believed. Yet, now the Dodgers are losing again.

The Dodgers were supposed to win now. The Dodgers were supposed to win now. The Dodgers were supposed to win now.

The Dodgers were supposed to win now.

Now, the Dodgers are losing again.

The Dodgers are supposed to win now.

Now, the Dodgers are losing again.

The Dodgers have to win right now. Because, without winning, no fans will give the team one more chance.

They have to win right now. Because otherwise, they will lose the players’ trust. And, worse, they will lose the fans’ trust.

And, worse, they will lose their future.

And, worse, they will lose their chance to win the World Series before they lose their chance to ever win a playoff game.

The Dodgers’ future hinges on winning now. This winter, they must make their decisions now. They must be brave and decisive. They must show everyone they don’t get the politics of baseball. They must show everyone they don’t have their hearts in this league. They must show everyone they really want to win.

And, when they do, the Dodgers will win again. Because they will have won all the things they believed in.

If the Los Angeles Dodgers win the next World Series, they will win for one reason only: they will not only be victorious in the World Series, but they will have demonstrated the most important lesson a successful baseball franchise can ever demonstrate:

The most important
